KD-Validated Antibodies

We want to make sure the antibodies you receive are the highest quality. To do so, we validate the specificity and selectivity of the antibodies through knockdown methods. Our knockdown-validation principle is simple: If an antibody can detect signals in wild-type (WT) cells, and the signal disappears or weakens significantly in gene-silenced (KD) cells, the antibody is considered to be highly specific. In our experience, only 20% of antibodies in the market meet our knockdown criteria (if protein exists, signal exists; if protein does not exist, signal does not exist). We take the time, money, and effort to test them for you, and we will always show the data to back it up. To read more about the problem of poor antibodies ruining experiments, our knockdown approach, and our knockdown platform, please visit our About page.

Our KD-Validated antibodies are (mostly) monoclonal, primary antibodies for a wide range of targets, tested across applications of Western blotting, ICC/IHC, and flow cytometry. Most of them are Rabbit monoclonal, the best in class, that target mammalian species such as Human, Mouse, and Rat. As a young company, our goal is to provide more and more high quality, knockdown-validated antibodies for all 20,000 human protein-encoding genes.

Species: H, human; M, mouse; R, rat; B, bovine; D, dog, C, chicken; P, pig

Applications: WB, Western blotting; IC, Immunocytochemistry; FCM, Flow cytometry; IHC, Immunohistochemistry
